Shape Windsor & Eton Pride 2027: Join the Organising Team!
We are an organisation run entirely by volunteers, and after everything we’ve achieved together so far, we are gearing up to make Windsor & Eton Pride 2027 our best celebration yet.
We’re looking for proactive, practical people to join our core planning team.
Unlike on-the-day volunteering, these year-round roles give you a real voice in shaping the event from the ground up. You choose the team that best suits your skills:
Event Production: Lighting, sound, video, staging, and technical delivery.
Logistics & Parade Planning: Mapping out routes, managing site operations, and keeping spaces safe and accessible.
Fundraising & Partnerships: Helping secure the vital support that keeps Pride free for everyone.
Social Media & Content Creation: Spreading the word, growing engagement, and building community excitement.
Design & Creative: Bringing our visuals to life using Adobe CC or Canva with our extensive asset library.
Copywriting & Storytelling: Crafting engaging, snappy copy for our website, newsletters, press releases, and announcements to share our story with heart and impact.
Safeguarding (Children & Vulnerable Adults): Championing our commitment to a safe, inclusive environment, ensuring effective policies and on-the-ground welfare practices are embedded across all activities.
GDPR & Data Protection: Keeping us compliant, secure, and respectful of our community’s privacy across our platforms, mailing lists, and volunteer records.
You won’t be left to figure things out on your own. Every area has experienced team leads to collaborate with and share the load. Our catch-ups are relaxed and informal: think a quick coffee or a pint to get things done, definitely not endless PowerPoint decks, repeated text-heavy policies, or corporate waffle.
Just a solid dose of common sense, collaboration, and enthusiasm.
We are ideally looking for volunteers aged 18+ (with some sensible exceptions where appropriate). If you want to get stuck in, bring your skills to the table, and be part of an awesome team, we’d love to hear from you.

Lend Your Expertise: Become an Advisor to the Trustees
As Windsor & Eton Pride continues to grow, we are also looking for subject matter experts to act as key advisors to our board of trustees.
This isn’t a role filled with endless text-based presentations or dense policy readings. Instead, it’s an opportunity to associate your name with our work and serve as the trusted specialist we can consult when complex questions land on our desk.
We are specifically seeking advice and guidance in:
Finance & Accounting: Ensuring sound budgeting, governance, and financial planning.
Licensing & Council Relations: Navigating local authority requirements, safety advisory groups, and event permissions.
Legal Governance: Providing practical insight across contracts, compliance, and charity law.
Strategic Networking: Individuals with that invaluable black book of contacts who can introduce us to influential partners, supporters, and key regional figures to help our organisation progress.
Whether you can spare an occasional phone call, join a casual coffee to brainstorm, or review a specific proposal when we’re scratching our heads, your input will directly strengthen the future of Windsor& Eton Pride.
If you have specialist skills to share, please get in touch for an informal chat.
Either by email Recruitment@windsorpride.co.uk or fill in the form below and get in touch.
Dont worry we dont have an AI ATS system scanning your responses virtually judging you and then sending you an email from a noreply@ address with the words “Unfortunately on this occasion” we read them all and we want to talk.
